Charles Edwin Jackson, 89, formerly of Bangor, PA died Thursday, Sept. 11, 2014 in Manor Care Health Services, Palmer Twp., PA.
He was born June 5, 1925 in Summit, NJ the son of the late Thomas and Blanche (Emmons) Jackson.
He was a graduate of Madison HS, Madison, NJ, Maryville College and Crozer Seminary. He served in the Air Force during WWII and was ordained in the Presbyterian ministry in 1960.
Survivors: He is survived by two sisters: Grace Baldwin of Hummelstown, PA and Carol Smith of Williamsburg, VA; nieces and nephews.
Services: Will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday (Sept. 16) in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton, PA, with visitation from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Chester, NJ.

Mr. Jackson will be missed in the Bangor area. He used to stop by our child care center to visit and say hello to the children. He was always a pleasure and we looked forward to his visits. Our condolences go out to his family. From, Bangor Child Care Center
