Elsa H. “Elsie” Reuss, 79, of Plainfield Township, died Sunday, June 21, 2015 in Easton Hospital.
Born July 16, 1935 in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Karl and Theresa (Kopfer) Hettel.
She and her husband, the late William G. Reuss, Sr., co-owned Bill Reuss Foreign Car Service, Plainfield Township.
Elsie was a former member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Easton and was a life member of Concordia Maennerchor. She was a graduate of Churchman Business School.
She is survived by four daughters, Bambi Letson of Wind Gap, Sherrie Buss of Pen Argyl, Nancy Gruver of Plainfield Township and Karla Schultz of Easely, SC; a son, William Reuss, Jr. of Plainfield Township; a brother, Karl Hettel of Belfast; two sisters, Marie Dailey of Forks Township and Margaret Stamets of Easton; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Private graveside services will be held at the Northampton Memorial Shrine. The Ashton Funeral home, Easton is handling the arrangements.

My condolences to you – never forget the great memories growing up. As neighbors Elsie always stayed in touch with my Dad through the years – even if it was just to see how his health was – and for that I will be eternally grateful. The best to you! God bless.
