Ethel Carroll Kiefer, 102 formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ died Saturday, January 23, 2016 at ManorCare Health Services, Palmer Twp. Born June 28, 1913 in Phillipsburg, NJ she was a daughter of the late Edwin and Ethel (Howell) Carroll. Her husband Raymond J. Kiefer, Jr. died in 1989. She had been employed by Magnetic Windings in Palmer Twp. for more than 50 years before retiring.
She is survived by a son: Jesse S. Kiefer and his wife Peggy of Bethlehem Twp., PA; 3 grandsons: Jesse, Matthew and Alan Kiefer and 8 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond; a son: Harry E. Kiefer; and 4 siblings: Edwin Carroll, Minerva Stansberry, Florence Bullman and Eleanor Smith.
Services are 10:30 AM Thursday in the Ashton Funeral Home with a calling period from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Interment is in Easton Cemetery.
