I wish I had known her longer. She was a gift to the Historical Society and the area. She will be missed.

Her life earned her the front page of the Express-Times, today. Well deserved.

Being a volunteer at the library for a short time I was amazed at the extent of Jane’s knowledge of the history of Northampton County. I enjoyed working with her as a volunteer and found that there were very few questions that I came up with that she did not have an answer for.

She will surely be missed at the Sigal Museum.

My entire family knew Jane. When my parents were alive, they both knew Jane. My mother, as a school teacher, also had contact with Jane at the Public Library and at the Northampton County Historical and Geological Society Library. My brother, sister, and I had contact with Jane at the Society Library. Jane was very helpful to my sister when she was researching the family tree.

My sincere condolences are extended to Jane’s family, Ron, and Skip.

Jane Moyer was a truly unique woman – focused, determined, dedicated. If you did not know the date of her birth you would not have know how old she was, for her mind remained sharp, and her memory was without fail. She rarely missed a day at the library, and lived more independently than one could imagine. She loved social events, and enjoyed her 103rd birthday party. There will never be anyone that compares with Jane, her loss will be felt for many years. It was a privilege to know Jane, and to work with her.

Jane Moyer was a special person with such a wealth of knowledge on the history of Easton and its founding fathers. Her vast genealogical expertise is irreplaceable for our historical society. She was such a people and dog lover who touched the lives of so many in our community! We will all miss her welcoming smile and her wonderful dry wit and sense of humor. I feel very lucky to have known Jane may she rest in peace with the lord!

Great Aunt Jane was one of a kind. My father looked forward to visiting with her when he made trips home to Pennsylvania. Learning our family history first hand. He was so in awe of her and her vast knowledge. I hope to continue researching on our families and honor her legacy.
