John M. Sipos, 92, formerly of Bethlehem Township, died Saturday, November 11, 2017 in Oak Crest, Parkville, MD.
Born December 10, 1924 in Palmer Township, he was a son of the late Andrew and Theresa (Kovach) Sipos. His wife, Frances L. (Nagle) Sipos died in 2012.
John worked for Dixie Cup, Wilson Borough, Sheridan Machine, Palmer Township, Air Products, Allentown and SI Handling, Forks Township. He served in the Army Air Corps during WWII and flew on B-29 Superfortresses in the Pacific Theatre.
He is survived by his son, Jon C. Sipos of Jarrettsville, MD. His brother, Andrew Sipos died earlier.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 16, 2017 in the Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Township. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling the arrangements. Offer online condolences at www.AshtonFuneralHome.com.
