John R. Decker

John R. Decker, 80 of Easton, PA died Sunday, April 9, 2017 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Anderson Campus. Born March 25, 1937 in Wantage Twp., NJ he was a son of the late Frank and Susan Decker.  He had been a carpenter in New Jersey for more than 30 years before retiring.

He is survived by: two grandchildren: Jennifer Burd, with whom he resided and Rafael Fontan; a brother: George Decker and 3 great-grandchildren: Hailey and Brianna Burd and Sabrina Fontan. His wife: Eleanor, son: John, Jr. and daughter: Cindy all died earlier.

Visitation will be held 10 AM to 11 AM Thursday (April 13) in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton. Interment will be private in Mount Salem Cemetery, Wantage Twp., NJ.

    So sorry for your loss.Uncle John was a great person, he had a heart of gold. Always willing to help anyone. Sorry we lost touch in that last few years.
