Joyce E. Schurz, 82, of Nazareth, PA died Friday, July 11, 2014 in Front Royal, VA.
Born: November 29, 1931 in Phillipsburg, NJ she was a daughter of the late Kline and Elizabeth (Gyorfi) Hoff. Her husband Edward D. Schurz died in 2004.
Personal: She was a graduate of Belvidere High School and most recently enjoyed her time at the Sarah Care Adult Day Care Center.
Survivors: Daughter: Marie Baker and her husband David, with whom she resided; son: Robert Schurz and his wife Cheryl of Nazareth; sister: Diann Altenbach of Nazareth; 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursdsay (July 17) in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton; with visitation 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine.
