June C. Johnson, 92 formerly of Marblehead, MA and Forks Twp., PA died Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Country Meadows, Bethlehem Twp., PA. Born June 21, 1923 in Maynard, MA she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Minerva (Morash) Carbary.

She was a graduate of the Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School and a tour guide for a bus company in Massachusetts for many years. She had also been a nursery school teacher, Girl School leader and member of the Friendship Force. June was an active tennis player, golfer and square dancer and she especially enjoyed her many years with extended family at Camp Wulamet in New Hampshire.

She is survived by her daughter: Cynthia GaNun of South Plainfield, NJ; brothers: Arthur and Charlie Carbary; 5 grandchildren: Derek Johnson, Janna Dowdell, Kevin Johnson, Jason GaNun, Jennifer GaNun; 8 great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law: Donna Johnson. She was predeceased by her husband Ken Johnson; her son: Ken Johnson; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

A Celebration of her Life will be held 11 AM Friday, July 31 at Green Pond United Methodist Church, 4411 Green Pond Rd., Easton, PA with a calling period from 10 to 11 AM in the church. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton, PA is handling arrangements.

    June brought beauty and love to our lives as she did with her large circle of friends. We will miss her bright smile and happy nature.

    Our grateful thanks to her family who for many years have shared their love with her.

    We have so many fond memories of June at Camp Wulamat–she is a huge part of our history. We will miss her. With love to all the family.
