Louise A. Minnich, 81 of Avona Heights, PA died Saturday, October 31, 2015 in Easton Hospital. Born April 6, 1934 in Wilson Borough, PA she was a daughter of the late Anna (Wagner) and Edward Schurz. A 1951 graduate of Easton High School, she had been employed by Met-Ed in Forks Twp. for 22 years and by the Dixie Cup Co. for 17 years. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Forks Twp. and had volunteered at Easton Hospital.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Edwin E. Minnich; a sister: Frances Macher and her husband Paul of Palmer Twp., PA; and nieces and nephews who were like her own children to her. A brother Edward D. Schurz died earlier.
Services are 2 PM Wednesday (Nov. 4) in Faith Lutheran Church, 2012 Sullivan Trail, Easton with visitation from 1 to 2 PM in the church. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling arrangements. Interment Northampton Memorial Shrine.
