Butch (Butchie) was a good friend for nearly 40 years. He and I were always competing and if we could have, we would have bet on which drop of water would reach the bottom of a window first!

We were not surprised to hear that he had been telling jokes to his nurses after the stroke – he had a terrific sense of humor.

You can be sure that if there is golf where he went, he’s teeing off right now.

Our condolences to the entire family – he was one of the good guys.

Butch was my first supervisor as I started my career at Technicon. He became a friend and someone I could count on at anytime. My condolences to the family and to be sure, will miss him. I had an opportunity to talk to him over the Christmas holidays and he was in good spirits despite his condition.
