Phyllis M. Nolf, 83 of Palmer Twp., PA died Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at home. Born January 27, 1932 in Easton, PA she was a daughter of the late Helen G. (Rustine) and Charles B. Overbeck.
A 1950 graduate of Wilson High School, she had been employed by the former Dixie Cup Co. for 10 years. She was a member of St. John’s Church on Morgan Hill in Williams Twp. and the PA Jazz Society. She was also a former Rainbow Girl and Girl Scout leader.
She is survived by 4 nieces: Diane O’Rorke of Palmer Twp., Patty Griffin of Stonewall, OK, Kathy Prough, of Easton, and Susan Reilly of Wilson Borough; and a nephew Keith Krout of Pen Argyl, PA. She was predeceased by her husband Harold R. Nolf in 2013 and her sister: Joyce Krout and her brother: Charles G. Overbeck.
Services are 11 AM Friday, July 3 in St. John’s Church on Morgan Hill, 2720 Morgan Hill Road, Easton, PA with visitation from 10 to 11 AM in the church. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling the arrangements. Interment will be private in Northampton Memorial Shrine.
