Our family has tremendous love, respect and admiration for Pastor Neubauer. He married my parents, comforted them on the loss of their child, baptized and married several of us, and spoke at my fathers funeral. May he experience God’s peace that he has spoken and shared with so many others. Our sympathy and prayers to the Neubauer family.

Despite being Presbyterian, I frequently worshiped at the morning Lenten services Pr. Neubauer held before classes started at adjacent Wilson High. He was the first Lutheran pastor I ever knew, and I had an emotional reunion with him at the ELCA Churchwide Assembly in Philadelphia a number of years ago. I thank God for Pr. Neubauer’s life and ministry and pray God comforts his family now.
