Richard John Doyle, 88 of Northampton, PA formerly of Easton, PA died Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. Born February 16, 1927 in Easton, PA he was a son of the late Ada (Faust) and Benjamin Doyle. A 1945 graduate of Easton High School, he was a WWII Army veteran serving in the European Theatre. He had been employed by Maiers Bakery for 24 years before retiring in 1990. He was also employed by Easton Trouser for 23 years and was a member of the Army Blue Devils.
He is survived by sons: Daniel and his wife Deborah of Bethlehem, PA, Thomas and his partner Jim Perna of Allentown, PA; daughter: Patricia Howell and her husband Lyle of with whom he resided; and 2 grandsons: Jonathan and Darien. He was predeceased by his wife Frances (Mondillo) in 2008 and sister Jane Rampulla.
Services are 11:00 AM Monday (Nov. 2) in Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton, PA with visitation from 10 to 11 AM. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine.
