Russell S. Albert, Jr.

Russell S. Albert, Jr., 74, of Wilson Borough, died Thursday, February 15, 2018 in New Eastwood Healthcare Center.

Born April 8, 1943 in Easton, he was a son of the late Russell S. and Florence M. (Beohm) Albert.  His wife, Leona (Purdy) Albert died in 2006.

Russell worked for Cooper Industries, Palmer Township and retired in 2016 from Abec, Inc., Bethlehem.  He served in the Army during the Vietnam War.

Surviving are his sons, Russell, Steven and Douglas Albert; sisters, Maryann Fisher and Donna Albert and 8 grandchildren.

Services will be private under the direction of the Ashton Funeral Home, Easton.

    I’m sorry to learn about the loss of your brother, father, grandfather and uncle. Russell was a good man. He is now in a happy place and not in pain anymore. He and Leona are reunited. God Bless all of you. Linda (Fisher, Meyers) Chalfant.

    My sincere condolences to Russ’s family and especially to his son Steven. Worked with Russ for over 20 years at Pennsylvania Pump & Compressors and several years at Burton Corblin Compressors. Russ was a special co-worker, everyone had a lot of respect for Russ, his quality workmanship and friendship. RIP Russ.

    So sorry for your loss. Russ was Ken’s neighbor and we used to gather on his back porch in the summer watching the birds and admiring his beautiful vegetables. He was such a nice man and we will miss him. Peace and prayers to you.
