I came to know Shirley from visiting residents in her nursing home. She was a wonderful person–easy to talk to,, caring, and always ready with a quick hello and a beautiful smile. Shirley was a child of God, and her faith gave her courage and peace for the next of stage of life– Eternal Life.

Shirley was a beautiful soul that will be missed! My kids (and I) will always remember her as the “Wise Old Turtle”, the storyteller from a Vacation Bible School a few years back at Green Pond UMC. Heaven has gained another angel!
