Susan was a good friend and colleague. She worked with us at Allentown Sewing Machine and taught several classes for us. All of her teaching was fun filled and enthusiastic c and she loved bringing new sewers into her world. She will be missed as a friend to all and by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Bob, always remember the fun from the past and wipe the bad memories from your thoughts. Susan will never be forgotten. Bill Slopik

Bob, So sorry to hear of Susan’s passing. I know our paths have crossed infrequently in the past few years, but I do remember Susan’s passion for the creative process. I also remember what a team you were in publishing her textile books. You and your family are in my thoughts at this sorrowful time.

What a shock to hear from a mutual friend that Susan had passed. We had only met once, at a fiber event at Lafayette College, and I was so taken with her warmth and generosity of spirit. I’m sorry I didn’t have the opportunity to know her better. That said, anytime the world loses a creative spirit, we all suffer the loss. Rest in peace, Susan.

Condolences to the Huxley family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your whole family. Psalms 147:3 says God, “heals the broken hearted, and binds up their wounds.” May God bring you comfort and peace.
