Violet M. Werkheiser

Violet M. Werkheiser, 71 of Easton, PA died Monday, January 1, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital Anderson Campus. Born November 9, 1946 in Phillipsburg, NJ she was a daughter of the late John and Gladys (Brown) Woodginski.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years: Kermit Werkheiser; daughters: Dawn Bronico and her husband Joseph, III, Bonnie Harrell and her husband Walter, a sister: Shirley Woodginski all of Easton, a sister: Dolly Phillips of Phillipsburg; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Services are 10:30 AM Friday in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton with visitation 9:30 to 10:30 AM. Interment is in Easton Cemetery. Offer online condolences at www.AshtonFuneralHome.com.

    My heart goes out to my best friend Dawn and her family. . Violet was ,is and always will be an amazing woman .. she had a heart of gold .. she truly was a strong woman.. I pray you find comfort and peace in this time of need knowing that she is no longer in pain and she’s now home with her late son .. and when it’s your time that God calls you home they will be waiting for you with open arms .. until we meet again “mom” spread those beautiful Angel wings and fly high ♡♡♡

    Mom, anything I say could never be enough. I love you so much and miss you more than words could describe. Please know I did every thing I know you want and some maybe you didn’t. You are my hero and now my angel. Please know I will always try to make u proud. Ill take care of dad and ko. I cant wait to hug you again. I love u so MUCH my heart misses u so much mama.
