Valerie A. Legath, 66, formerly of Easton, died Sunday, September 25, 2022 in Paoli Hospital. Born April 7, 1956 in Easton, she was the daughter of the late Charles S. Smith, Esq. and Margaret (Kohl) Smith. Valerie was a graduate of Easton Area High School and Cedar Crest College.
Surviving are two sons, Steve Legath and Tom Legath; her brother, Craig Smith, Esq.; and her grandson, Matthew Browning Legath.
Services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 1, 2022 in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine. Offer online condolences at www.AshtonFuneralHome.com.

We are saddened to learn of Valerie’s death. She was our neighbor and true friend. We loved Val and missed her when she moved away from Forks Twsp. We lost touch and did not know she had a grandson. We are sure that brought her great happiness.. With heartfelt sympathy, Rob and Loretta Harper
