Irene P. Bradbury, 97 of Palmer Twp., PA died Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at home. Born March 10, 1925 in Scranton, PA she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Irene (Phillips) Rauner. Her husband Melvin R. Bradbury died in 1985. She was employed by Dixie Cup, then James River Corp. and Country Meadows for many years before retiring. Irene was a founding member of St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church in Palmer Twp.
She is survived by her daughters: Sharon VanSyckle (companion Donald Wallace) of Changewater, NJ and Cynthia Rau (husband Michael) with whom she resided; 3 grandchildren: Jennifer, Michael, Jr. and Thomas; and 8 great-grandchildren: Michaela, Mackenzie, Zachary, McKenna, Evan, Kaiden, Michael and Elizabeth. A grandson William predeceased her.
Services are 11 AM Friday (Feb. 17) in St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, 3900 Freemansburg Ave., Easton, PA 18045 with visitation 10 to 11 AM. Interment is in Northampton Memorial Shrine.
