Ruth L. “Cookie” Medina, 60, of West Easton, died Saturday, June 23, 2012 in the VNA Hospice of St. Luke’s.
Born: March 23, 1952 in Wilson Borough she was a daughter of the late Nelson and Ruth Conover Andrews.
Personal: She was a graduate of Churchman’s Business College and received her BA in Accounting from Centenary College. She had been an accountant at various firms in the Lehigh Valley.
Survivors: 2 daughters: Jeneane Leh and Michelle Medina; 5 siblings: Nelson,Jr. and Randy Andrews, Peggy Shafer, Carole Pilolli and Kimberly Mahony; 4 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Services: Graveside Thursday (6/28) 1:00 p.m. in Easton Cemetery. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling the arrangements.
Memorial Contributions: May be made to the family % the funeral home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton, PA 18042.

RIP Mom. You are missed already by all. I will miss all of our crazy times…I am proud to say I received from you…my strength and spontaneity. Something that has brought my family as much comfort and fun as yours did for me. I will love you always. Our memories comfort me. You were a pillar of strength. You never stop amazing me. You were a fantastic Mother and an even better B-Ma. I hope I made you proud.

My sympathy to the family. I worked with Ruth at Pechiney Plastics in Washington. She was one of the nicest people I ever met. She spoke about her family everyday and how much she loved you all. May she rest in peace.
