Vernon, you had always been a big brother and uncle to me. I miss the many laughs we had at the dumb jokes we made, going on antique treasure hunts in the many towns and cities, and listening to funky music in your truck and in your store. Sorry, Vernon. I shouldn’t have gone before we met again. There are no words that can express the depth of my sadness at your loss. Your precious memories will remain in my heart forever. You will always be in my heart as Uncle Vernon. You worked hard and had a big heart and cared for many people, including me. Vernon, may you rest in peace in heaven.
