Judith D. Memering, 79, of Palmer Township, died Sunday, October 20, 2024 in St. Luke’s Hospital. Born April 17, 1945 in Camp McCoy, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of the late Derwood and Glenna (Nichols) Jacob. She and her husband, Melvin N. Memering were married 54 years. Judi was a graduate of University of Illinois and served in the Women’s Army Corp during the Vietnam War. She was an elementary school teacher in the Easton Area School District for 25 years and retired in 2008. She was an active member of the Arts Club at the YMCA, Easton and a member of AAUW.
Surviving with her husband, Mel, are a son, Jason Memering; a brother, Derwood, Jr.; three sisters, Beverly, Karen, and Teresa; and two grandchildren.
