Jeanne Murphy, 91 formerly of Lopatcong Twp., NJ died November 22, 2024 at Holy Family Manor in Bethlehem, PA. Born March 12, 1933 in Bethlehem she was the daughter of the late Viola (Bray) and Wesley Hewett. Her husband James Murphy died in 2008. Jeanne had been employed by Warren Hospital for many years. She was a graduate of Pen Argyl High School and member of Pilgrim Presbyterian Church, Phillipsburg, NJ.
She is survived by her daughter: Susan J. Shafer and her husband Jon Zanoline of Bethlehem Twp., PA; a granddaughter: Nicolle Zito and her husband Philip; and 3 grandchildren. Services were private with burial in Fairview Cemetery, Pen Argyl, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Animal Health and Welfare, 1165 Island Park Road, Easton, PA 18042.
