Frederick W. “Fritz” Bone, Sr.

Frederick W. “Fritz” Bone, Sr., 93, of Bethlehem Township, died Saturday, February 7, 2026 in his home. Born April 26, 1932 in Bangor, he was the son of the late Theodore Bone, Sr. and Ethel (Favire) Bone. He and his wife, Stella (Stankus) Bone were married 65 years. Fritz owned and operated Bar-Don Lanes until retiring in 2023. He served in the Army and was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Farmersville. He enjoyed attending sporting events with his grandchildren, gardening, and stock car races. He was a member of various local clubs and was a member of the Junior Order of Mechanics.

Surviving with his wife, Stella, are two sons, Fred Bone, Jr. and his wife, Lisa and Ronald Bone and his wife, Jill; two grandchildren; and a great granddaughter. He was predeceased by three brothers, Ted Bone, Charles Bone, and Russell Bone.

Services will be private. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling the arrangements.     I extend my heartfelt condolences to my colleague Lauren, the entire Bone family, and extended families, on Fritz’s passing. While this is a time of sadness and grief, it is also a time to reflect on the joy he brought to so many people and how he served his family, community, and country. I wish for you comfort and healing during this time.

    I bowled at Bar-Don manny years ago. Was a Secretary Dock Ogden League. God bless you Fritz.
