Kathryn E. Troxell

Kathryn E. Troxell, 91, of Easton, died Friday, March 27, 2026 in Holy Family Manor. Born October 31, 1934 in Bethlehem Township, she was the daughter of the late Mark E. and Minnie M. (Koones) Hartzell. Her husband, John G. Troxell died in 2002. Kathryn graduated from Wilson High School in 1952 and worked for Dixie Cup, Easton and Washington, NJ. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Forks Township.

Surviving are a son, Timothy J. Troxell and his wife, Kathy; two daughters, Karen A. Applegate and her husband, Michael, and Cynthia G. LaBelle; a brother, Richard E. Hartzell of Australia; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers, Mark W. Hartzell and John L. Hartzell.

Services will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, April 2, 2026 in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton. A visitation will be held from 9:30 am to 10:30 am on Thursday in the funeral home. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine. Offer online condolences at www.AshtonFuneralHome.com.

    So very sorry to the whole immediate & extended Troxell family for your loss- my thought prayers go out for each & everyone of you !
    I only ever had the pleasure of meeting Kathryn once but she was a lovey lady & was always spoken very highly of by her family.
    Remember that this grief & sadness you are experiencing now is difficult but temporary-
    Jehovah God promises that at John 5:28&29 ( at Acts 24:15) that there will be a resurrection & these things will all be a thing of the past (Revelation 21:4-5). And we know this to be a sure thing because at Hebrews 6:18 it states GOD CANNOT LIE ‼️

    Tim, Kathy & Maryanna, Karen & family, and Cindy & family – wishing you comfort during this difficult time. May you feel the love of our Heavenly Father and our Savior, Jesus Christ. What a glorious reunion she is having with her beloved family members who have gone on before her. I’m sure she will be watching over all of you.
