Lorraine H. Wallace, 88, of Saylorsburg, formerly of Blackstone, VA died Wednesday, December 5, 2012 in Kindred Hospital Easton.
Born: May 17, 1924 in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Ella (Reiss) Voorhees.
Personal: She was the wife of the late W. Maynard Wallace. She served in the WAC during WWII and was a telephone operator at Fort Pickett, VA.
Survivors: A sister, Betty Best, a brother, Lawrence Voorhees and nieces and nephews, including David Slack of Saylorsburg. A brother, Harry Voorhees and 4 sisters, Gladys Slack, Arlene Wilson, Gerry D’Huyvetters and Carol Green died earlier.
Services: 1:30 pm on Friday, December 7, 2012 (today) in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton. Call from 1:00 pm until service time in the funeral home.

Both my Dad and I wish to extend our condolences. It is extremely difficult for my Dad to get out due to various health issue at this time. He very much wanted to attend Lorraine’s service and regret he was not able to do so. Our deepest sympathy.
