James H. “Jim” Lohner

James H. “Jim” Lohner of Easton, PA died at the age of eighty-six on August third in Easton, PA.

Jim was a native of Kansas and a graduate of the University of Tulsa, in Oklahoma, as well as the Royal Air Force (RAF) Staff College, in Andover, England. Jim was a biologist and an Air Force officer who served in World War II and Vietnam and with the National Emergency Airborne Command Post. He was awarded the Bronze Star, Purple Heart, and Meritorious Service Medal, among other commendations.  He had a quick, dry wit.

He is survived by his wife, Norma; his son, Joe, and daughter-in-law, Denise; his daughters, Ann and Beth; and his grandsons, Ryan and James.

Services will be private.  Arrangements by Ashton Funeral Home, Easton.
