Robert F. Wright, 84, of Avona Heights, died Wednesday, June 8, 2011 in his home.
Born: April 20, 1927 in Butztown, PA, he was a son of the late Alfred and Margaret Baum Wright.
Personal: He had been employed by the Smith Pie Company, now Kelloggs, for many years and was currently employed by the Spring Garden Children’s Center, Easton. He served in both the Army and Navy during WWII and loved his garden and fishing.
Memberships: He was a member of VFW Post #1290 and PA Member at Large, VFW Post #15040.
Survivors: Two brothers, Harry B. of Cresco, PA, Elwood F. of Bethlehem; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Alfred E., Jr., James A., Sr., Jack T.; and sisters, Marie Gancars and Susan Dilliard.
Services: Will be 11:00 a.m. Monday in the Ashton Funeral Home, 14th and Northampton Streets, Easton with a calling period from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. Interment Northampton Memorial Shrine.
