What an elegant and fine man! I am so sorry that John has passed away.

I am a March School and Easton High School school mate, and a fellow New Yorker, who chatted with John and his dear partner many times at concerts at the Williams Center in addition to seeing them now and then in New York City.

I will remember him with endearment.
