Fritz was like a father to me. When he took his boys fishing, he took me along and gave me the finer points on catching fish. The same came with hunting. His son and I grew up together, and Fritz always included me. I have always known him to be a good and honorable man. After I got out of the Marine Corps, there would be good natured teasing between him and me as there always is between swabbies and warheads. Fritz will be much missed – there will always be a lot of fond memories of times in hunting camp and along the banks of several streams.
