
Richard Allen Foster, 82, formerly of West Easton, died Tuesday, December 1, 2015 in Gracedale.
Born October 7, 1933 in West Easton, he was a son of the late Chester A. and Anna (DeHart) Foster.
He was treasurer and controller at U.S. Bronze Powders, Flemington, NJ for 30 years and retired in 1998. He was the zoning chairman for West Easton and was appointed borough manager in 1998. He graduated from Wilson High School in 1952 and served in the U S Air Force during the Korean War. He received a BS in accounting from Benjamin Franklin University and attended Muhlenberg College.
He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Wilson Borough where he was secretary and treasurer and served on church council. He was a member of the Black Diamond Society of Model Engineers and would show his model railroad display at his house to hundreds of people each year.
He is survived by nieces and nephews. His brothers, George, John and Chester Foster and his sister, Doris Stroble died earlier.
Services will be private. Interment will be in First Presbyterian Cemetery, Asbury, NJ. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling the arrangements.

I remember my short lived stay with the DeHarts and Fosters back in the middle 40’s.Not many of us left. RIP Dick
