Barry W. Reinhart

Barry W. Reinhart, 75 of Palmer Twp., PA died Thursday, December 17, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Anderson Campus. Born September 18, 1940 in Easton, PA he was the son of the late Wayne S. and Margaret “Midge” (Freeman) Reinhart. He and his wife, the former Nancy Beisel were married 51 years.

A graduate of Easton High School, he worked for the Prudential Insurance Co. for more than 30 years before retiring in 1997. He was a Marine Corps veteran and member of the Marine Corps League, Northampton County Detachment #298 and Brown & Lynch Post # 9, American Legion. He was a bugler in the Lehigh Valley area known for playing echo taps.

He is survived by his wife: Nancy; 3 daughters: Suzanne Veltri and her husband Carlo of Pittsburgh; Joanna Williams and her husband Gary of  Palmer Twp; Alena Reinhart of Palmer Twp.; and 4 granddaughters: Aria Beyah, Ella Williams, Avery Williams and Amara Beyah.

Services are 11 AM Monday, December 21 in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton with visitation 6 to 7:30 PM Sunday in the funeral home. Interment is in Northampton Memorial Shrine.

    It has been a privilege to know Barry and his family for the last 16 years. He was a great man who loved his family and the marine Corp and he will be missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace Barry. The trumpet will be played for you this day. . We know you will be watching over all of us until we see you again. Nancy, we are here for you if you ever need us. Our deepest condolences to everyone.

    We were deeply saddened to hear of Barry’s passing. We offer our sincere condolences to you Nancy, Suzanne, Joanna, Alena and family. Barry was a joy to have around, always the life of the party. I will miss his banter with my father and Ed. He was a great friend to them and our family. Barry had a wonderful sense of humor and could tell a great story. We will always have those memories. He will be missed him dearly.

    It was a pleasure to serve with Barry during our time in the Marine Corps. Barry, Adam Korzon and myself spent many times together along with “the Rinemobile”. Barry will be missed and I will treasure the photos I have from back in the day. Semper Fidelis Marine. It was an honor.
