Edward Joseph Smith, 71 formerly of Havertown, PA died Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at the Gardens of Memory Care, Easton, PA. Born December 21, 1946 in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late Edward and Rose Mary Smith. A 1965 graduate of West Catholic High School in Philadelphia he served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He had been employed as a health care technician and was an avid pool player.

He is survived by his children: Jeffrey and his wife Linette of Easton,  Paul of Landsdale, PA, Ashley and her husband Richard Noboa of N. Wales, PA; step-children; 3 sisters; 10 grandchildren and several step-grandchildren. His wife Adele died in 2010.

A Memorial Mass will be held 10 AM Monday, March 26 at St. Philomena Catholic Church, 41 E. Baltimore Ave., Lansdowne, PA with a calling hour prior to the Mass. Interment will be private. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling arrangements. Offer online condolences at www.AshtonFuneralHome.com.
