Carol L. Warner

Carol L. Warner, 74 of Forks Twp., PA died Friday, August 24, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital. Born November 7, 1943 in Bradford, PA she was a daughter of the late Carolyn (Burtis) and Alver Satterlee. She was a 1964 graduate of the Women’s Christian Hospital School of Nursing in Jamestown, NY and received a degree in Public School Nursing from East Stroudsburg in 1975, a BS in Nursing from Cedar Crest College, an MSN from Villanova University, and a Family Nurse Practitioner degree from DeSales University.

She was a nursing instructor at the St. Luke’s School of Nursing and a nurse practitioner for Community Health. Carol was a member of the Lehigh Valley Nurse Practitioner’s Assoc., Sigma Theta Tau, PA League of Nursing, Society of Geriatric Nursing, American Academy of Nursing Practitioners and American College of Nurse Practitioners. She was the financial secretary for Epworth UM Church for 25 years and was a founding and life member of the Forks Emergency Squad where she served as treasurer for 22 years.

She is survived by 3 daughters: Lori Fuller (husband Kenton) of Larksville, PA, Dawn Davis (husband Stephen) with whom she had resided, Tanya Huff (husband Lance, Jr.) of Oxford, NJ; a sister: Bonnie Lowe (husband James) of Lewis Run, PA; 6 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Ross “Ted” Warner in 1991 and a grandson Trevor.

Services are 10 AM Thursday (Aug. 30) in Cornerstone Church, 411 March St., Easton with visitation 6 to 8 PM Wednesday in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Luke’s School of Nursing, 801 Ostrum St., Bethlehem, PA 18015 to provide a scholarship in her memory.
