Dear Kunkel family. I am very sorry to have read of the recent death of your loved one, Alan. Please accept my sincere condolences. I would like to share something that I have personally found to be very comforting. MIT is found in the Biblemat John 5:28,29 and also at Revelation 21:3-5. These verses tell us that soon God is going to bring about a resurrection of our dear loved ones, as well as do away with all of the many causes we have for suffering, including sickness, pain & death. Knowing this has always comforted me and it is my hope that these thoughts will likewise comfort your family also during this most difficult time in your lives.

Dear Diane, Heather and family, and Cindy;
It was wonderful to know Dr. Kunkel and he will never be forgotten. He had an amazing sense of humor and even with his passing, he continues to cause my grandmother and I to smile and laugh. We will carry on his mission and memory by living every day to the fullest as he always did, as his drive was to heal, and he knew that laughter is the best medicine.
Our hearts go out to your family at this trying time. May you take comfort in his memory and may love soothe your spirit.

Dear Diane and family (Cindy)
I cannot tell you how shocked and saddened I was on Thursday when I got the call. I had just been in the office the day before and Dr and I had spoken about health problems. My visits to the office have always been very pleasant and helpful. I can only say that my thoughts are with you all at this time. I know how hard this will be as have so recently gone through it. But I was prepared for it. How difficult that moment must have been. I understand that you had just celebrated your anniversary. Bill and I had just celebrated our 48th just 3 days before he passed. I contacted Brenda and Woody Zimmerman in Texas to let them know. Please know that I am thinking of you and will miss you all.

Diane and family,
I just received the news of my friend’s passing.It hasn’t hit home yet.He was a gentleman among us.Whenever we spoke by phone,my opening line was “what’s up,Doc”?He already knew who was calling..Even when things looked dim,he was always upbeat…
He will be missed.
A true friend forever.
Randy.
