Gladys R. Bolcer, 91 of Washington, NJ died Friday, October 26, 2018 at the Philipsburg Care Center. Born May 27, 1927 in Easton, PA she was a daughter of the late Grace (Metzgar) and Ralph Lewis. A 1944 graduate of Phillipsburg High School, she had been employed by Ingersoll-Rand, Warren Controls, Nytronics and Shop-Rite. She was a member of the Phillipsburg Senior Citizens Club and an avid doll collector and knitter. She also loved bus trips and camping.
She is survived by her children: Frank T. Bolcer (wife Betty) of Easton, PA, Kathleen Oswald (partner Linwood Errickson) of Glasgow, KY, Richard L. Bolcer (wife Deborah) of Phillipsburg, NJ; brother: Donald Lewis of Hellertown, PA; 4 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter. Her husband Frank J. Bolcer and 5 brothers died earlier.
Services are 2 PM Thursday (Nov. 1) in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton, with visitation 1 to 2 PM. Interment is private in Montana Cemetery.
