I am very, very sad to hear that Mr. Krupnik has passed on. I was living downtown when I came across your 18th Street residence in 2012. I truly appreciated coming across the work of art, and composed Mr. Krupnik & his wife a note. For some reason, I recently came across an old holiday card he created for me, with different color markers, and today became aware of the loss you have experienced through an online posting. If you have any great photos to share of the facade to your home, please email them to me, I would love to keep them in remembrance.

I just learned in yesterdays ny post of the passing of Joel Krupnik. So sorry. I grew up with him and went to school with him at the LES yeshiva M.T.J. His family had a clothing store on Orchard Street on the LES.

So sad to hear about Joel’s passing! He was a good family friend.
We have many fun memories of Joel the several times he visited our home in D. R. and while leaving in the Lower East Side.
RIP.
