Erwin C. Deemer, 90 of Easton, PA died Sunday, March 17, 2019 at the New Eastwood Care Center. Born July 5, 1928 in Easton he was a son of the late Chester and Florence (Scull) Deemer. His wife, the former Yolanda Virgilio died in 2013. He was a member of the Merchant Marine and employed by the former Dixie Cup Company for 30 years before retiring. Prior to that he was employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad. He was a life member of the Fleas, Citizen Hose, Liberty Hose and member of Safety First and American Legion.
He is survived by his children: Linda Shober and her husband Michael of Bethlehem Twp., PA, Wayne Deemer and his wife Michelle of Easton, Nora Deppen of Bethlehem Twp., Ronald Deemer of Wilson Borough; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
A Graveside service will be held 12 Noon, Thursday, March 28 at Easton Heights Cemetery, N. 10th St., Easton. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling arrangements. Offer online condolences at www.AshtonFuneralHome.com.
