Shirley Bella Terleski of Easton, PA died Friday, April 12, 2019 at the age of 90. Born Sept. 4, 1928 in Riegelsville, PA she was a daughter of the late Daisy (Hagley) and Arthur Sheats. Her husband of almost 63 years, George Terleski, died in 2014. She was a 1946 graduate of Wilson High School and continued to participate in reunion breakfasts until 2018. After graduation, she worked as an office secretary at C.K. Williams (Pfizer) and then as a secretary at the former St. Mark’s UCC in Easton. She was a member of St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, Easton.
Shirley enjoyed playing cards with her card club of six who met regularly from shortly after her graduation until well into the 1990’s. Her love of cards, games, crossword puzzles and reading brought much pleasure to her in retirement. She also enjoyed traveling and musicals. Shirley was a kind and polite woman, devoted to her husband and family. She laughed easily and enjoyed her small family gatherings.
She is survived by her children: Lynn Terleski-Katz of Sacramento, CA, Robert Terleski of Andreas, PA, Gregory Terleski of Easton, Michael Terleski of Bethlehem; 3 grandchildren: Tyler Terleski, Seth Katz and Annette Terleski; and her extended family of over 70 years: Marilyn Schoenborn, Kay Richter, Peggy and Ron Vellner. Her brothers: William and Richard Sheats died earlier.
