My husband and I were relative newcomers to the morning walking crowd at the Bethlehem Township Community Center (about three years), but we always enjoyed seeing Rich there. He was always friendly and supportive of all of his fellow walkers. We had our own nicknames for many of the walkers, mostly because at first we didn’t know any of their names. To us, Rich was “Mr. Flannel” because he always wore a flannel shirt. RIP, Mr. Flannel. You will be missed. My heart goes out to all who loved Rich.
