Madeline Koenen, 87, of Nazareth, died December 23, 2011 in Gracedale.
Born: May 24, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Everett and Lucy (Gable) Brannin.
Personal: She was employed by Roche Pharmaceuticals, Belvidere, NJ. She served in the Cadet Nurse Corps during WWII and was a Red Cross Disaster Relief nurse.
Survivors: three sons, Charles Koenen of Texas, Bruce Koenen of Nazareth and Russell Koenen of Nazareth; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Her husband, Charles died earlier.
Services: A memorial service will be held at 2:30 pm on Saturday, March 17, 2012 in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton. Call from 1:30 pm until service time Saturday in the funeral home.
