Richard A. Johnson, 83 of Forks Twp., PA passed peacefully, Sunday, September 13, 2020 at St. Luke’s Hospital-Anderson Campus. Born September 4, 1937 in East Stroudsburg, PA he was a son of the late Bertha (Hull) and Walter Johnson. He was a 1955 graduate of Easton High School and an Army veteran. He had been employed by Magnetic Windings, where he met and married his beloved wife Linda Sue (Seip) Johnson. He worked for Maier’s Bakery for many years and also enjoyed his 20 years as a vendor at the Saylorsburg Flea Market.
He is survived by 3 children: Richard W. and his wife Denise of Nazareth, PA, Vivian L. of New York City, NY, Michael J. and his partner Janis of Wilson Borough, PA; and 2 grandchildren: Talia and Nicholas. He was predeceased by his wife: Linda Sue, sister: Carol Heavener, brothers: Stephen and James, and brother: Robert who died in infancy.

Mr. Johnson…you were such a sweet guy. I’ll never forget how kind you and Linda were to me when I babysat your 3 awesome kids. I remember your AMAZING basement full of all things Elvis. That record collection!!! I’m glad i stopped to say hi last summer with my daughter. Rest in peace my dear. My heartfelt condolences to Ricky, Vivian, and Mike. 💜💜💜
