Lourie Krahwinkel, 64 of Wilson Borough, PA died Monday, September 21, 2020 at Pocono Medical Center. Born January 10, 1956 in Easton, PA she was a daughter of the late Violet (Kunkle) and Oliver C. Border. She had been employed by Georgia-Pacific/Dixie Co. for 21 years before retiring.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years: Henry Krahwinkel; 3 children: Karen Horinko (husband Jamie) of West Easton, Erich Krahwinkel and Beth Keifer of Wilson Borough; 2 sisters: Edith Johnson of Macclenny, FL, Suzanne Greenleaf of Easton; 8 grandchildren: Christopher, Derrick, Nicholas, Sarah, Anthony, Hailey, Michaela, Jacob; and 4 great-grandchildren: Kailynn, Kaleb, Kasen and Thomas.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 7:30 PM Monday (Sept. 28) in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton. A Celebration of her life will be held Noon, Sunday, October 4 at Riverview Park, 1391 Lehigh Dr., Easton. Memorial contributions may be made to the family c/o the funeral home. What do you say about someone like Laurie? She went through so much and was so strong. I will always remember her smile, her laugh and the pleasant person she was! May God bless her and hold her in his arms. My sincere condolences to the family , I know that she will be missed!

Even though I have meet and seen her a few times, she was a sweet woman, I remember when we went to the beach with her, she had such a great time! She was a strong woman!
