I’m so heartbroken for you all. I remember your mother (and father) fondly from the times out families used to get together. Your mom was one of the most beautiful souls – so kind, patient, and loving. My sympathies to you all.

Entire Van-Spanje family…My sincere condolences. Oma was one of the most amazing woman I have ever met. She opened her heart to everyone and was ALWAYS there to help. My sons Dillon and Austin were so blessed to have such a loving Oma. I never stopped loving her! I’ll never forget our conversations about her growing up and all the hardships she endured. But it just made her stronger. We lost an Angel on Earth but she’s watching over us. Give Opa a hug for now you are together again. I LOVE YOU OMA!!

My condolences to the Van Spanje family. I met your parents when I worked for them. I remember always talking with Miep and the stories she would tell. She had a rough beginning but she was a beautiful person. Even when I no longer worked for her we would get together occasionally and catch up. RIP Miep. You and Gerard are together again.
