Sonya E. Guggenheim, 86 of Doylestown, PA, formerly of Easton, PA died Thursday, December 31, 2020 at the Masonic Village in Burlington, NJ. Born April 1, 1934 in Phillipsburg, NJ she was a daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Elevitsky) Wolpert. Her husband Morris Guggenheim died in 2018. She was a member of the Temple Judea in Doylestown and started their “League of Our Own” Club. She was also a member of the Pioneer Women’s Club. She had been a merchandise buyer for her sister’s shop in Peddler’s Village, “House of Bekhor”, for several years and very active in the Jewish community.
She is survived by her daughters: Joy Goldberg of Browns Mills, NJ, Jerilyn Heiland of Bristol, PA; 3 grandchildren: Marcie, Joshua, Jessica; and 4 great-grandchildren: Emily, Ethan, Jonathan and Sterling.
A graveside service will be held in Children of Israel Cemetery, Easton. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to any Hospice organization. Offer online condolences at www.AshtonFuneralHome.com.

To know Sonya and her good nature, her spirit and the endless love she had for her entire family was a truly life enhancing experience for me to witness.
