Kevin A. Williams, 61, of Bethlehem, died Tuesday, March 16, 2021 in Lehigh Valley Hospital. Born June 22, 1959 in Easton, he was the son of Lois (Brown) Williams and the late Kenneth Williams.
He was a graduate of Easton Area High School where he played in the band. He served in the U.S. Marines as a cook aboard the USS Holland and was a chef at Saucon Valley Country Club for 15 years. Kevin was a life member of the Marine Corps League, Northampton County Detachment, #298 and a member of the Military Order of the Devil Dogs. He was also a member of the Joint Veterans Council where he was the coordinator and a recipient of the Veteran of the Year award. Kevin also arranged for the award to be given to 1979 Iranian Hostage Crisis captive, Sgt. Kevin Hermening.
Surviving with his mother, Lois, are his children, Wendy and Ashleigh and his sister, Debra. His sister, Tracy died earlier.
A service with military honors will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, in the Easton Cemetery Chapel, North 7th Street, Easton. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling the arrangements.
