Lorraine M. McBride, 73, of Saylorsburg, died Wednesday, June 16, 2021 in New Eastwood Healthcare Center. Born November 10, 1947 in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Hazel (Stem) Sargent. She worked at Weiss Markets in Bangor and Brodheadsville.
Surviving are her children, Kelly Borger and her husband, Rodney of Stroudsburg and Darren McBride and his wife, Peggy of Bath; her companion, William Ponnett; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Her daughter, Terry Ann McBride died in 1979.

Bill, so sorry to hear of Lorraine’s passing. I talked to her all the time in Weis when I’d see her working and saw she was not feeling well. I’ll always remember the good times she and I had line dancing years ago. My deepest condolences to u and to her family. God Bless…

So sorry to hear of Lorraine’s passing. We went to school together and she was my Matron of Honor in 1971. We lost contact about a year ago and I often wondered if she was sick. Prayers for her family and Bill. My husband, Tom, went to school with Bill. Prayers for all.
