Lois M. Bohn, 88, of Effort, formerly of Wilson Borough, died Monday, July 12, 2021 in her home. Born February 11, 1933 in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Albert S. and Wilna M. (Schweitzer) Nagle. Her husband, Karl E. Bohn died in 1969.
Lois graduated from Easton High School in 1950 and was an insurance agent for Eck Kellow and Co., Easton for over 25 years until retiring in 1998. She was a member of the former St. Mark’s UCC, Easton, a member of New Creation UCC, Palmer Township, and a member of the Ambassador’s Club.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas A. Bohn and Terry E. Bohn; a daughter, Susan L Jansen and her husband, Eric; and two grandchildren, Amanda Bohn and Brian Jansen.
Services will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, July 16, 2021 in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton. A visitation will be held from 9:30 am to 10:30 am on Friday in the funeral home. To the Bohn family,
I am sorry for your loss. She was a funny person to be around. I remember when I first met her she didn’t know I existed in my family. I gave her a hug and said welcome to my family lol. I think I will remember that most of all. She smiled and said I welcome that. She is now an angel looking over all of you.
