Nicole B. Neiman

Nicole B. Neiman, a woman who was bigger than life and loved by so many, died Wednesday, October 27, 2021 from cardiac complications. Born in the Bronx in 1930, Blossom (her given name) proceeded to create a full and extraordinary life. At the age of 17 she started singing and ultimately became an opera singer and subsequently performed and had a stable of students, some that became lifelong friends. Later in life, at the age of 38, she started college and earned a Master’s degree in Social Work and developed her own practice.

By the 1970’s she became affiliated with an organization that trained individuals and ran encounter groups. She became one of the principles of this organization W.I.L.L (Workshop Institute for Living-Learning). She developed her own method through her psychotherapeutic skills and her singing talents to help hundreds, upon hundreds to empower themselves to enable themselves to sing. In later years she sculpted and painted beautiful works.

She is survived by her daughter Leslie Neiman-Goldsmith, son-in-law Ron Goldsmith and two grandsons, Matthew and Joshua Goldsmith. A memorial service is being planned with details to be announced. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Organization of Autistic Research. Offer online condolences at www.AshtonFuneralHome.com.
