Rose A. “Sis” Van Vliet

Rose A. “Sis” Van Vliet, 94, of Williams Township, died Wednesday, April 13, 2022 in her home. Born October 16, 1927 in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Rose (Rumore) March. Her husband, Richard L. Van Vliet died in 1996.

Surviving are her daughters, Robin R. Hess and her husband, Jake and Rhonda L. Broadhead and her husband, Rich; a son, Richard L. Van Vliet and his wife, Donna; two sisters, Pauline LaLonde and Nina Troutman; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Her son, Randy M. Van Vliet; three brothers, Phil, Roland and Joseph March; and a sister, Mary Louise Gold died earlier.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 16, 2022 in Northampton Memorial Shrine, 3051 Green Pond Rd., Palmer Township. A visitation will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 pm in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.     Rhonda and Robin my heart breaks for you. I know there are no words that can ease your grief right now but know that Rose is with her beloved Richard again and that they will always be watching over you. I pray the Lord will comfort you and that you both know how much your mom loved you. Rest In Peace Rose ❤️😇❤️

    My deepest sympathy is with you at this time. I share in your sadness and hope you feel surrounded by much love.
    Our parents had a special relationship and I remember much laughter and happy times at our family visits. I remember your Mom’s Laugh and it always made me smile.

    I will miss her very much, we had such good times together when I lived in Pa. I wish I could of been there for you’s. She will always be in our hearts .
